HDD Swivel
The HDD swivel applies to trenchless pipeline installation. Installed pipelines include cables and sewage pipes. When used in trenchless pipeline installation, the hdd swivel connects pipes during pullback. During installation, the power source connects to the pipe through the power swivel. During pipe pullback, the equipment drags and releases the pipe. It does not damage the pipe.

Working Principle
Horizontal Directional Drilling (HDD) pipe laying method uses downhole drilling tools, pipeline detection, and other technologies to lay, repair, or replace underground pipelines without excavating trenches on the surface. Utilizing a drilling rig placed on the surface, it forms holes through water jetting or extrusion. By receiving signals emitted from the drill bit within the surface receiver, it achieves control of the drilling trajectory. The construction process involves three stages: drilling the pilot hole, hole enlarging, and pipe pullback.
Single-ear power swivels are suitable for rotary connections with larger pulling tonnages. They use shackle connections, which provide an automatic adjustment space at the connection point, acting as a buffer and effectively protecting accessory damage.
Double-Pull Ear and Single-Pull Ear:
Power swivel types include single-pull ear power swivels and double-pull ear power swivels.
The housing is manufactured using metal forging and pressing technology for enhanced durability.
Equipped with multi-layer imported rotating bearings and matching components, capable of withstanding high-tonnage pulling forces.
Incorporates Caterpillar mechanical seal design to ensure leak-free operation under heavy loads.
Sealed lubricating grease is injected to guarantee smooth rotation during high-tonnage pulling operations.
Optimized clearance fit design between the lug grooves and connecting accessories ensures secure installation and rotational protection.
